WHAT? NO COMMENT?

A young blonde woman trekking in the highlands of Africa is abducted by a large male gorilla. After several months in his captivity she awakes one day and the ape is gone. She escapes back to civilization, and because of her physical condition has to be hospitalized. Her mother comes to visit her in the hospital and says, “Oh, my dear we are so happy to have you back safe. I can’t imagine what you had to endure with that beast.   You must feel just awful.”

The girl looks up, tears in her eyes, and replies:   “Of course I feel awful, mother; he doesn’t call, he doesn’t email, he doesn’t text . . . .”.

I know, I know, this comes off a little sexist, doesn’t it? If you think so, please let me know. You see, that’s the point of this: I’ve posted over 750 essays since I began Dragon City Journal, along with a lot of graphics. But I don’t get much response from my readership (although I was gratified to finally received a request from someone to be “unsubscribe” because I had finally managed to sufficiently anger her, although it wasn’t the gorilla abduction joke. Maybe it was my posting Vol.11.5: Going Ape Over Blonds).

So now that it’s easier for you to render your thoughts, opinions kudos and death threats about Dragon City Journal with the new comments section in the upgraded website. Now you don’t have to bother with your email to send a comment, a question, or just to say you want to “friend” the dragon. So don’t be like that gorilla.

Welcome to Dragon City, Bob. And you’ll even find it’s easier to park here than in SF.
